Out of all of the places in the world, Hawaii is one of the most magical, culturally open and stunning places you can ever look to visit. Hawaii is a part of the USA which consists of a few small islands and is a paradise of white sands, blue skies, and stunning scenery. If you have always wanted to travel to Hawaii and you fancy giving it a try this year, here are some of the ways you can make it the best trip of your life.
Use a great guide
Before you start booking everything for your trip to Hawaii you will want to make sure that you have the best possible information to follow in regards to tourist attractions and news on the areas. Sites such as Tripadvisor.com can offer you a list of all the best-rated places to visit in Hawaii, however, if you want a more in-depth analysis of the local area, sites like TodayOahu.com can be much more helpful. They offer the weather, news, events and reviews on tourist sites so you will be able to travel to Hawaii with a clear plan of what you want to do.
Find great deals
When it comes to booking a holiday abroad anywhere in the world it is always worth checking for the best possible deals you can. You will often need to think about looking both online and in your local travel agents to compare the best possible holiday deals that you can for the trip. You will likely want to be able to splash the cash on things while you are away so the more money you can save at this point, the better it will be for you.
Book earlyβ¦. Or last minute
When it comes to booking your trip for the best possible deals there are two distinct ways that you can save a lot of money. If you book a holiday a year in advance you will always save money due to the flight inflation and because you are an early bird. However, if you book the holiday a couple of weeks before you go, you can get a great bargain because holiday homes and hotels are trying to fill up their spaces as much as possible to make money out of you. It depends on how spontaneous you are and whether you are able to make a decision within a few weeks, but it is definitely worth looking at.
Pack light
When it comes to packing your suitcase for your holiday to Hawaii you wonβt need to pack too many options. As long as you have a bikini or two, a couple of dresses and jumpsuits and a coat, you can pretty much guarantee a wonderful holiday in this beautiful part of the world. The climate here is always warm so you wonβt need to worry about clogging up your suitcase with tons of hoodies and jumpers.
Bring your bikes
If you are going to have the best possible time while you are in Hawaii you will want to spend some of that time exploring the many beautiful natural landscapes and scenery on offer. Although you could easily walk this, it is much easier to get around on your bike and you will be able to cover much more ground by using your wheels instead of simply walking on foot. You can pack a bike to bring with you on the plane in a box, or instead simply hire one for the duration of your stay on the island.
Stay in a house
Although most of the great deals youβll see in Hawaii will be for big hotels, you might actually find it more comfortable to stay in a house or a small villa for your trip. When you stay in a house you have full use of the facilities including your own kitchen, and you have the bonus of being completely private from everyone else and most of the time you will also have a pool to enjoy. Make the most of this island paradise with your loved ones and rent out a house for the week to live in luxury in one of the most scenic places on Earth.
Explore the countryside
Like we said earlier, you simply cannot think about travelling all the way to Hawaii without taking the time to explore all of the beautiful natural landmarks on show. Due to the area being packed with dense forests and mountains, you could easily spend the whole week exploring national parks and getting up close and personal with the wildlife who thrive here. It is the ideal holiday for the adventurer and you will never explore the same place twice!
Lie on the beach
Adult life can be incredibly stressful and more often than not we find ourselves stuck behind a desk every day becoming more and more stressed as the minutes pass by. To make sure you are able to truly relax on your trip, take a day or two to low on the beach and do absolutely nothing. The beaches here are bright and crystal clear and you can feel as if you have stepped into a whole new world from the moment you sit down with coconut in hand. Let yourself relax and let your mind refresh and it will be the best possible thing you can do for your health.
Climb the volcanoes
If you have a spare day which you want to fill with adventure and fun, there is one place in particular which you absolutely have to come and see for yourself while you are in Hawaii. The Hawaii Volcano Park is a stunning attraction which pulls in thousands of people every year and it is easy to see why. At the centre of the spectacle are KΔ«lauea and Mauna Loa which are both active volcanoes and constantly erupting lava. You will be able to walk along the top of the volcano as you see lava slowly pouring down the path. It is a true wonder to see and it is one of the most amazing sites in the world. Just be sure that you bring your camera along for the ride because you will regret it if you donβt!
Get fit
Hawaii is one of those places in the world which it would feel like a waste to spend the time stuck in a hotel complex. The majesty and beauty of Hawaii invites exploration and it is this which will give you the opportunity to get fit for a few weeks during your stay. You can spend the day playing on the beach, swimming in the sea, cycling through villages and climbing mountains. If you haven’t managed to lose a few pounds by the time you get home we would be incredibly surprised!
Take a break
After all the excitement of walking and cycling around the island, there will come a time when you are due a decent rest and reset. The great thing about this country is that for all the running around and excitement you see, there are also some amazing spas and yoga retreat which you can come to in order to take a break and relax for good. Take some time this week to visit a spa and grant yourself a massage and a mud bath. Youβll feel like a million dollars when you leave and you will be more than ready to enjoy a romantic evening with your partner.
Eat great foods
The food in Hawaii is incredibly diverse and there are influences from different parts of America, Mexico and even parts of Africa and Europe. We all associate Hawaii with pineapple on pizza and coconut, but there is so much more on offer and you can even get a lot of vegan options for those who need to steer clear of meat and dairy.Β You can pretty much find something for every diet and there are some wonderful restaurants for you to visit on a sunny evening. You can even opt for a home cooked meal and you will be able to enjoy some of the freshest and juices produce you have ever eaten, thanks to the natural climate.
Join in on celebrations
Hawaii is a place which is always up for a celebration and it holds different festivals all the way through the summer. Thereβs the Aloha Festival, the floral parade, food and wine festivals and much more throughout the year. You can barely go a week without something being celebrated and this is exactly the kind of culture you will want to be apart of. The locals will make you feel welcome and like part of the family from the very beginning and you can always count on them to make you feel amazing during your trip to Hawaii.
