Although many people gravitate towards the northern States in the summer months, it is an excellent time to take advantage of the plethora of things to do in Florida. You will beat the crowds and get great deals. I’ve asked my friend, Peter Chan, to share with us his top travel tips for Florida in the summer.

Ready for Florida Fun this Summer?

Let’s go!

There are soooo many states in the US that will offer you fun, but nothing quite like what you’ll find in Florida. It’s a haven for families, couples, and friends to explore, and no matter what your likes and dislikes are, you’re guaranteed to have fun. We love Florida so much because of its character and charm, and we believe it’s one of the reasons why so many different people come back time and time again. You can easily fill a two week holiday with things to do, and still, miss out on loads of other things! However, if you’re looking for a bit of fun, no matter how long you want to go for, we want to show you why Florida won’t fail to deliver. Have a read on to find out more.

For The Thrill Seekers

Thrill seekers love to have fun, and we know that most of you love a little thrill out there. Luckily for you, Florida is heavily populated with theme parks that are suitable for all ages, and all levels of thrill seekers. Yes, it might cost you a fortune to fit in just a few of them, but the parks in Florida are like nothing you have seen before. They stretch for what seems like miles, are full of so many different rides, and as usual, everything is bigger and better. America in general likes to do things big, but Florida’s theme parks just go all out. You’ve got the likes of Universal Studios and the Universal Orlando resort filled with rides like the Rip Ride Rocket, and Jaws that’ll definitely make you scream. If you’re travelling with young thrill seekers, there’s plenty to do for them too. Or, if you fancy cooling off, you could head to the new Volcano Bay water park. It’s a full day out, and we would highly recommend buying fast passes.

For The Relaxation Cravers

Who says that to have fun, you have to be on the go. Some people’s idea of fun involves lounging around at the hotel, a spa, or even the beach. And yes, you guessed it, Florida has them all. For starters, some of the hotels that you can get are huge, filled with luxuries, and a comfy place to lay your head after a day of thrills. This hotel in Dania Beach, Florida is just one example of the perfect place if you’re looking for somewhere to relax after a hard day. If you’re thinking of the beaches to relax, we think that Florida has some of the most beautiful. Clearwater beach is absolutely lovely, whether you want to relax or you want to try out some watersports.

For The Foodies

If you go to Florida, you go to eat, it’s as simple as that. It will feel like every single street is lined with places to eat, luckily for you. If you’re only going to America once, you’ve got to hit all of the main ones. You’ve got Applebee’s, Chili’s, IHOP, Hard Rock Cafe. But, we will warn you, you need to go with a wallet full of cash, and a belly ready to eat. You really do pay for what you get, and if you can’t stomach a lot of food, we would recommend sharing a plate!
