Where am I off to next?
As an adventurer, I enjoy trying out new places, but also seeing familiar places with new eyes. I’ll be heading back to Cuba later this month and five other times before the summer. I look forward to seeing my amigos and familiar sites perhaps with many changes since my last trip in February 2015.
I will also be returning to the Iberian Peninsula and two of my favorite places: Granada and Barcelona. Oh how I have missed good jamon serrano, manchego, olives, and rioja! Also, on this trip, I will be making stops in the Tangiers and the Canary, both of which will be second visits.
As a surprise, I will be making my virgin stop to the Madeira Islands in Portugal. I have heard beautiful stories of Funchal. I’m excited. Any recommendations from those adventurers that have been before? What must an active traveler with a nose for good food and wine do and eat/drink?
Later this year, I will be taking another first time travel to Vietnam. It will be a Mekong River adventure. Although I have only begun my research, I would be open to more information from those that have traveled recently for tips, do’s, and of course don’ts.
Where are you off to this year?
Will you be heading to Cuba, Vietnam, or one of my other destinations?
If so, let me know when. Perhaps our paths will cross.
