I was born and raised in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale/Miami), and I always used to escape to certain parks or beach areas to stargaze since there was quite a bit of light pollution in the city. Would anybody happen to know of any truly GOOD spots for stargazing in South Florida?

Yes, South Florida is getting ready to welcome many football fans. It is going to be rather exciting.
I have listed some of my favs in Miami, but in the next few days I will be putting something together for Fort Lauderdale as well. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the suggestions. Got to get to Miami. Feels like I really need to do it now with all the cold weather. You’ll have alot of visitors in the next few weeks with the Pro Bowl and Super Bowls coming.
