Hi,
I enjoy the idea of hiking, however, I’m not a physical woman.
But what I enjoy much more it’s to see the landscape from the summit.
The same feeling when you are on a plane- not only you enjoy the scene but also deep down, it’s great to have the feeling that you reach the top of something…

this looks like a fantastic hike! i have been a few places in America but never to New Hampshire, i think i need to plan a visit!!

Great write up on Mount Monadnock!
Definitely a more challenging hike than a “3 hour round trip”, and quite unfortunate for the rain to come. Just an hour north of Monadnock there are 100′s of small hikes throughout the White Mountains, here in New Hampshire, that may be worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.
Most of which deliver even more spectacular views than Monadnock (being surrounded by other mountains, rather than southern New Hampshire’s flatlands).
